Proud to see USF World and Tampa Bay leading the global conversation.
I had the privilege of attending the 3rd Annual USF International Business Forum today, a fantastic exploration of the factors and leaders driving Tampa Bay’s evolution into a premier international hub.
It is no surprise that the Financial Times-Nikkei “Investing in America” report recently ranked the Tampa region as the best place for international companies to do business. Today’s event brought together civic leaders, economic experts, and innovators who are making that ranking a reality.
As a University of South Florida alumnus, I am incredibly proud of the work the USF World team is doing. A special thank you to Kiki Caruson and Bessie Skoures for the invitation to such an insightful event. The tireless planning by the entire USF World team was evident in every session.
I was also thrilled to see my colleagues at the Florida High Tech Corridor step up to support this initiative. Now is a critical time to understand global economic integration and how it creates sustainable jobs and opportunities for the next generation, including the talented University of South Florida interns I work with at both the University and The Corridor.
